What Is Ionized Water?
Ionized water is created when filtered tap water passes through an advanced electrolysis process inside a water ionizer. This process uses platinum-coated titanium plates to electrically charge the water, separating it into two streams; one alkaline, one acidic. The alkaline stream is rich in essential minerals like calcium and magnesium, and infused with molecular hydrogen, a powerful antioxidant.
Unlike standard filtered water, ionized water offers enhanced hydration and greater bioavailability. Installation
Countertop Setup
- Simply place the unit near your kitchen sink and plug it into a standard 230 V socket.
- It connects easily to your cold-water supply using the included diverter or adapter.
- No drilling is required—making it ideal for DIY installation.
Undercounter Setup with Faucet
- If you prefer an under-counter install, you’ll need to drill a 33 mm hole in your worktop or sink to fit the optional chrome faucet.
- The faucet includes all necessary parts and fits securely using a lock-nut underneath
Do I Need a Plumber?
Most customers install the unit themselves with basic tools and minimal effort. However:
- You may wish to hire a plumber if you’re uncomfortable drilling into your sink or making changes to your plumbing.
- A qualified installer can also assist if you want a completely seamless under-counter finish.
